Skibeden Landfill Site Works Completed

The team has recently completed the coordination and CQA supervision for the installation of leachate monitoring wells at Skibeden Landfill Site, Skipton, for Yorwaste Limited. The works utilised the specialist drilling services of Dragon Drilling to ensure the boreholes were drilled accurately into the drainage blanket.

Robinson Geo Engineering was commissioned by Jacobs Limited on behalf of Humberside Police Authority to complete the ground investigation works at a former Northern Gas Works site, off Clough Road, Hull. The site investigation works included trial pitting, in-situ soakaway testing, cable percussive drilling, rotary openhole and corehole drilling and the installation of combined groundwater and ground gas monitoring wells.
Completed extensive ground investigation works in Inverness

The team has recently completed extensive ground investigation works at Black Rock, Evanton, Inverness for a new Hydro-Electric Scheme along the River Glass. Commissioned by JN Bentley on behalf of RWE, the site investigation included trial pitting, cable percussive drilling, rotary openhole and corehole drilling, groundwater well installation and down-hole geophysical surveys.

A commission in Nottingham for JN Bentley involved constructing a flexible modular pontoon to achieve access on the River Trent for rotary drilling and coring works. The team drew on their experience from a range of contracts to provide this tailored service allowing them to complete the works at a very cost effective price.
